Slightly soppy post alert… but it’s Sarah’s birthday!
We don’t carry much stuff – so I’ve even forgone getting her a birthday card. There’s no mantelpiece to put them up on. No windowsill to arrange them in a line on. Great excuse isn’t it? But don’t worry, she’s getting plenty of Japanese cheese instead.
So here’s to the bravest, hardest working and most caring person I know. Life, and this trip, has thrown plenty of curve balls – but bravery isn’t having no fear. Bravery is picking up the courage to carry on when things are tough. So whatever doggo may (or may not) be round the corner, whatever steep descent might be waiting for us at the end of the climb and who knows if the lay-by we’re sleeping in is actually a good idea or not… there’s no-one else I’d rather be on this adventure with!
We’re a long way from home, and don’t currently have a proper address – so if you’d like to put a birthday card on Sarah’s blog windowsill – I’m sure she’d love to wake up to a few comments!
